Hi Kay,
Firstly, be sure that you are talking about bullets. You do this in
MSWord. Compare the document as it appears in both Duxbury and MSWord.
The strange symbol may be replacing something else that you would want
to deal with differently.
IF it is bullets, in the MSWord document:
1. Select a bullet by itself and copy to clipboard
2. Hit control H for find in replace and paste the clipboard into the
find string
3. Tab to replace with and type two dashes
4. Tab to replace, hit enter, tab to replace all and hit enter again.
Now, all of the bullets will have been replaced with a double dash.
Now open the document in Duxbury and you should get better results.

If you're sure those symbols are bullets and you don't want to go back
to MSWord you can replace the strange symbols in Duxbury
1. Select one of the strange symbols by itself and copy to clipboard
2. type F 6 to replace and paste clipboard into find string. Tab to
replace with and type two dashes. Type enter, tab to replace all and
type enter again.
You should begin this process at the top of the document.

Bob

Hi Kay,
This probably means that Duxbury has encountered a symbol it doesn't
know how to deal with such as bullets in an MSWord document. You'll want
to figure out what that symbol is and how to deal with it. For example,
with bullets, I replace all bullets in MSWord documents with a double
dash.

Hi all,

When we run some documents using the newest version 10.6 a ch in in sign
shows up in weird places. When we use an older version it does not show
up. by ch in in I mean dot 16 and dot25 twice. I'm sure there is an
easy fix but could someone help me out.
