Steve, Sorry for being tardy, yesterday was a public holiday here. E.g. copy [fts~i] into "text to find" which immediately brings up its mate [fte~i], leave "replace with" blank & hey presto: "Error- Text was not found in the document" (it IS there!!!). Same problem with [fts~b] and [fts~u] the other day. E.g. Copy </para.>; brings up <para.>; delete <para.> from dialog box leaving </para.>; replace with [<]; result "Error- Some codes are not properly started or terminated". E.g. Copy [ps]; does not bring up its mate [pe] but when replaced with blank deletes [ps]. Anomalous, but I won't complain ... 'cos it worked ... sorta ;-) Obviously the codes are paired for good reason, but it does make it difficult to "split" them when required. It seems to be easier to change/delete an opening rather than closing code. I'm also having silly problems like; to TYPE <para.> into "text to find"; ctrl [ (for a code); type <para.>, but now we have an extraneous set of [] and again "Error- Text was not found in the document". Tried without ctrl [ but still wont find. What exactly isn't working for you?
