Hi Anders,

There is quite an extensive Help system (albeit in English). It is
worth browsing through the topics here to familiarise yourself with
things.

You may also find it helpful to go the DBT's Global menu, select
Internationalization, and then Danish. While Help will still be in
English, the menus and many messages will be in Danish which, my
Danish wife assures me, should make sense.

All the best,

George.

Hello George!
You were correct.
I had to move the paper a bit and i hadn't set the paper try right.
At last i got it to work.
It seems it can do a lot of things this great program.
Are there any free audio or text tutorials to download anywhere?
/Anders.

Hi Anders,

I presume you have selected the correct embosser it DBT's Global:
Embosser
Setup menu.

Do you mean that the first two characters of each line or not
embossing?

I am not familiar with the Blista BTec 100, but I wonder if perhaps
you need
to move the paper further left? A4 paper, which is 210 mm wide (or
8.25
inches), should easily accommodate 30 braille characters per line.

George.

Hello George!
Thanks for your excelent help.
A nother question.
I just tried it in demo mode here and i was embosing at text. It seems
to
work fine but one thing went wrong. I don't know if i have set the
left
margin wrong but it seems not the complete text comes with my
printing. It
begins one or two letters in the sentences. My line withth is set to
30 and
the left margin is set to 1. The printer is a btec a00. I am using a4
papers, i can't say how many inches a4 papers are exactly. /Anders.

Hej Andres,

If you have a single-user license, you should also have what is called
"License Text". Although I cannot guarantee it at this point
world-wide,
here in the United Kingdom, it is usually along the lines
of:-

DBT X####-####

That is to say the upper case letters DBT followed by a space, then an
upper
case letter followed unspaced by four numbers, then a hyphen or dash
followed by 8 more numbers.

This is usually supplied on a yellow card in braille and large print
with
the CD.

You will normally be asked to enter this license text at the early
stages of
installation.

If you are struggling over the weekend, I'll be monitoring the list
and will
try to assist further if you need help.
