Hi Glen,
Yes. Here is how I do it. I make sure I'm in the Coded mode with Alt + F3.
Place your cursor at the top of the page you want to leave blank. In your
example, this is the top of the document, but in other instances it is right
after the PG code indicating a new page. Press F9 to insert a code. Type in
"pv0" (the text within and not including the quotes). Hit enter. This will
force the page to not be numbered. You can now do one of two things:
* Without moving your cursor, go to Layout/Set Page Number. Make sure the
next page is set to 1 and choose if you want Arabic or Roman numerals. If you
are embossing interpoint, this will place page 1 on the back facing page from
the title page.
* If you want the back of the title page to remain blank, use control enter
to place a hard page break for an additional page and then insert the "PV0"
code using F9. Then follow the process above to set the next page to 1. You can
also place your cursor just after the code for the third page break, press F9,
then type in pv1".
Pressing Alt + F3 to go back into Formatting mode should show you a document
with the first one (or two) pages with no page numbers, followed by a page with
the page number of 1.
I hope this helps. This is also a great thing to know about when needing to
switch between Arabic and Roman numerals, or if you don't want your table of
contents to have a page number, or want to start your page numbering system
over after the contents page.
Best,
Liz

Good evening, I am a Braille Specialist and I have a question. I have created a
braille document in Duxberry, but wish to change the first page to no page
number. The first page is just a title page. Is there a way to do this? And how
would I do it? Thanks Glen
