Hi Duxusers:

With the help of your very good instructions and a phone conversation with a very busy friend, I got it to start embossing but it stopped before the dots hit the page because the tractor was tearing off of the sides of the first page. Very quickly I stopped the embosser and got rid of the page as it was somewhat wrinkled and threw away that and its tractor feed. I have never had a manual for this machine and I can't seem to get one from the company who says that their domaine name is up for sail. I just noticed a telephone like keyboard with numbers and symbols brailed on it. Can anyone tell me what they are and what they are fore? Their sequence and symbols follow.

Starting with the bottom row, four keys on each:

0, ., (dots 46,) e, v

2nd row up:

1, 2, 3, ff

3rd row up:

4, 5, 6, lf

top row, fourth:

7,8,9, ol

Why is there a number pad and what is it for and the same goes for the symbols, what are they for and in what circumstances would I use them. If anyone knows where I might purchase a manual please let me know the particulars. Thanks again for any help you can give.
