What I have found sometimes is that saving the powerpoint files in rtf
simply gives you the outlines without some of the text inside the slides?

Hi George

That's what I suspected. I've gone a similar route before, but just thought
I'd ask if there was a simpler way in case I was taking the long way round!

Hi Theresa,

Not directly at this point. I usually do a Save As in PowerPoint, as an
Outline/RTF file. I bring that into Word, edit it to ensure appropriate
page breaks, remove graphics and replace with text if necessary, etc., and
then save the result as a .doc file which I finally bring in to DBT.

It?s a bit of a hike, but usually isn?t quite as tedious as it sounds.

George.

Subject: [duxuser] Brailling PowerPoint Presentations

Hi All

Is there any way of importing a PowerPoint presentation into Duxbury? The
presentation in question is mostly text, but there are a couple of pages
with pictures. I know I will have to describe the pictures, but this isn't
a problem because I have enough sight to see where in amongst the text these
need to go and know what they are so can describe them.

Any help gratefully received.
