George,

I hope this helps. I've just started taking a Braille Translating
Class.

In this class you need 1 inch left hand margin.

½ inch right-hand top and bottom of page.

11 by 11 ½ page.

Measurements for page 25 lines with 40 cells per line.

I hope this helps. Deb M.

Subject: [duxuser] Braille Page Margins

Is anyone aware of any formal or official recommendations with regard
to how much clear space should be left around a braille page?

I mean in terms of how much of a margin should for example at the top
of a page before the first row of braille dots, etc..

If you are, I would be grateful if you could send me a URL or pointer
please?

George.
