Jeff:

DBT 10.2E dates from June of 1999, so we are talking about software that is a month away from being 13 years old.

Many years ago, Duxbury Systems took the approach to (where possible) control the embosser with command sequences. Thus if you wanted double or single sided output, you would check or uncheck the appropriate box, and DBT made sure the embosser
would respond correctly.

DBT 10.2E had (or has, since we now know it is currently being used) no such facility. So you need to issue the command
sequences on the embosser to swtich between single sided and interpoint.

Here is a web page listing the history of improvements to DBT:
http://www.duxburysystems.com/dbtwhst.asp

Since version 10.2E is from 1999, that version could not import Word 2003, Word 2007, or Word 2010 files. These are things the current software does.

As always, we only provide the current shipping software. So we strongly urge you to update to DBT 11.1 SR4.

I hope you can forgive me for saying this, but if I had a kid when you obtained your copy of DBT, our family would be very busy preparing for a Bar or Bat Mitzah.

Hello,

I am using Duxbury 10.2E with a Braille Book Maker. How do I set the
Duxbury program and embosser to emboss single side 8x11-1/2 paper?
I tried changing the settings in Duxbury without success.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Jeff
