George,

The latter problem (template overwrite without warning) is on my list
already; I'm not finding a reference number at a quick glance, but I know
it's in there.

Thanks for the other observation.  I'll keep in mind when I look again at
this dialog, which will likely be after the release of beta 4.

June 21 Autobuild.
 
Open a blank document - using any Template.
 
If I then select Document: Create a new Template, the default Template name
is "Untitled Template".
 
If I click the OK button, it saves a Template of that name.
 
Not good! - I believe I should get a warning that I have not given the
Template a proper title.
 
Also, if I save using an existing Template name - I don't get a warning
either.
 
This is much, much worse.
