Bless you, Joanie,

I was beginning to wonder if this was a figment our of
collective British based imaginations! (Smile)

That said, by "our" I mean, one Scot (me), one Australian
(Trish) and one Dane (Helle).

George.

I just confirmed this on my machine.

Take care.

George,

Problem 1363: Get extra SWIFT/BANA installation prompts if
Word is running when DBT is started

Thanks for your persistance.

No, Peter. Word has been on our systems for many months,
and is used frequently.

To replicate the problem, simply run Word first, and THEN
run the DBT Beta.
(Or any of the last few autobuilds for that matter)

I can confirm this behaviour with Trish's System also.
(Which is XP Pro, where mine is XP Home. Both are running
Office 2003 fully up to date.)

Just to make it three in a row, I installed the beta today
on another XP Pro system (on which it had NOT previously
been installed), electing to run DBT afterwards. I was
asked if I wanted to install the SWIFT and BANA Templates,
to which I said yes.

I then closed DBT, and re-ran it. No messages. Exited DBT.

I ran Word, THEN DBT. SWIFT question popped up.

George.

George,

Do you mean that Word must be run *after Word is installed*.

Or do you mean that Word must be run *since the computer was
last booted*.

Or something else?

Hi Peter,

Eureka! I have found it!

Run Word. (in my case Word 2003) No need to open a file.

THEN run DBT.

Up pops the proverbial, "Would you like to install SWIFT".

Even if you have answered YES, this only occurs when you run
Word BEFORE a session of DBT.

George
