I have some things that I have to do first, but I hope to be able to discuss
more by late morning/early afternoon.
It seems that most of us are agreed that Jim's idea has merit. I say we
start to develop it, and if anyone has a problem with it, they can jump in.
I love the idea of Baish promoting axes, making them more prevalent than
swords! That is the sort of neat detail that will make this world stand out
from other campaigns, and it makes perfect sense. They always say god is in the
details; well, our gods should create a lot of little details like this!
I thought of Quasit as the god of magic, and I think he is the only one up
for it right now. However, I would prefer to have another god of magic, and let
Quasit be a god of strategy and forethought. Unfortunately, I like Cinilac as a
more specialized deity, so who could be the god of magic? Well, how's this for
a wild thought? Foster! I know it may sound crazy, but I like some gods that
may not seem to fit right away. Since we have Cinilac as a very militant magic
god, Foster might be good as a deity for more calm magic types. What do you
think?
I'm glad Dove wants to be a deity, and I think she would be perfect for the
portfolio you describe. We may not want to have one major nature deity, but
instead break it down into a few minor ones. I wonder who else we could use?
