I really appreciate your advise. These are two very good boys in a new situation and I did not have the strength to stop them and they weren't listening. I was trying to take a walk and they thought they would just run hazards! And it was their third time as a pair on a glorious day. Foxy and Herb adore them and have a good handle on what to do. So I'll just go up on weekends and learn from their experience! Although I think it would help if they were both reliable CDE experienced singles before competing as a pair. I have had a bad experience with a pony that knew the job (competed as a single for years) and one that didn't. Scared the young one and actually knocked him up against hazards. So I plan to enter the experienced guy Prelim and the not at Training in alternating events. Then maybe they will be OK by fall with a lot of summer road work together. Slow and steady is my motto. But, as a tandem they were awesome. Brave experience in front and younger brother behind. Looked prettier too since there is a good 2 inch difference in height and the smaller is more refined. Otherwise a pefect match. Oh well- keep on coaching me! _________________________________________________________ To Unsubscribe, change to Digest or Vacation mode go to: http://www.drivingpairs.com/dpmem.html `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
