Kathy,
You don't use breeching? So you rely on the carriage brakes, I assume?
The geography around here is rolling, so no long grades. I would assist on the
downhill slopes with the carriage brakes, but don't know if I would rely on
them entirely. I would hate to run over my own horses, when I've been so busy
trying to keep the cars from doing that very thing! ;)
