Hi Vivianne & Rob, I too use to pop in for a visit.

Mum & Dad would take us to see Grandma & all my Aunts & Uncles who were there for the
camp weekend of Easter which I had forgotten it was that time.

And if I remember right I some times went with Grandma & stayed for the weekend.

By the by Rob just thought I would let you know that my Momma is one of 20....gasp you say >GRIN<
She had 10 HALF brothers & sisters, with my Momma & her sister next to her being the last to die this year.

Between my Grandparents & their children the family spanned over 3 centuries.

It now leaves my cousin John (SDA) as being the patriarch of the family with me coming a close 2nd by
close I mean he is 9 years older than me.

Cheers, Helen

Hi Rob,
Not much has changed as far as SDA goes. I live nearby to "Adventist Park" on Kalamunda Road in Maida Vale. Every Easter, the place comes alive with tents as "Sevvies" from all over WA come to join in the Easter services, meet up with one another and generally enjoy themselves. 25 years ago, my next-door neighbour was the daughter of a "Sevvie pastor" (her words) and I learned a lot from her as well. SDA Carmel College in Carmel (Perth Hills area) is popular with sevvies and non-sevvies alike because of its excellent academic and moral values. It's always good to see the Easter gathering and before my SDA friends from Bunbury stopped coming because of age/health problems, I could pop in and visit. I'm not SDA but I was always made welcome. I have found this history of SDA movement in Australia really interesting. Thanks for sharing your discoveries with all of us, Rob.
