[dokuwiki] page changed notification -- how to show full change?

Hello all.

In my installation of DokuWiki, when I receive an "page changed" email
notification, many of the lines have extra equals (=) symbols in the
lines, and other characters missing.

For example, in one email I received was the line:

New Revision: http://perforce/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=silhouette:scalabilit=:start

which was actually supposed to be:

New Revision: http://perforce/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=silhouette:scalability:start

(the extra = in the word scalability)

Is this normal?  Is there a way that I can get rid of it?
