[dokuwiki] File permissions keep changing

I have a problem of my file permissions changing.

I don't know if this is a DW issue or my ISP.

 

I can edit a page but can't save it. DW gives an error which I haven't
written down yet. Anyway I go to my ftp program and find file permissions
are set to 644, if I change it to 777 then select save in DW all is fine and
page saves.

 

Any idea how I can fix this.
