It must always be downloaded, but I guess you mean you don't want to see the "File Save As" dialog. For security reasons, DW sends application mime types as attachments, browsers tend to put up "File Save As" windows for attachments. Check out the splitbrain blog for details on how to use an "inline" PDF for a scripting attack.

Do you get a checkbox in the bottom of the dialog for "Always do this with this type of file" or similar wording? That will allow you to change the browser's default for that MIME type.
