  Dear all,

A Focal Point Training was conducted at Kathmandu, Nepal from 22 - 27 August
2005. A total of 10 participants were trained in Daisy Digital Talking Book
Production. 8 participants were from different organizations of Nepal and one
representative each from Pakistan and Bhutan. Ms. Miki Azuma from Japan was the
chief trainer. Myself and Mr. Santosh Khare from Arushi Bhopal were the co
trainers.

A DAISY focal point has now been established in Nepal and it will be called
Daisy for Nepal. The President of Nepal Federation of Disabled-Nepal, Mr.
Birendra Pratap Pokhrale is the co-ordinator of Daisy for Nepal.

The trainees of this Focal Point Training are also members of this list now.

I urge all members to share their experiences and queries through this list.
