The reason it wants Delphi closed is because it cannot change files while Delphi is using them, I doubt the Delphi command line compiler will work properly with the IDE running either. It should be possible to break the install process after the files have been extracted but before they are compiled. Maybe I need to also make the files available without the installer or would it be enough to give the option to just unpack the files (if I can arrange that). - Russell Peters James Turner wrote: > I just downloaded ZM179Setup0402.exe and found that it requires me to close > Delphi. > > 1) It's not zip-compatible so I can't unpack the files manually. > 2) I can install components myself, I don't want my Delphi installation > messed with. > > Is there any way to just unpack the files, e.g. with a command-line switch. > > Assuming I close Delphi, just exactly what is it going to do?
