I am trying to make the version number more obvious by using the following
scheme
1.70.1.0
1 - major version number
70 - minor
1 - update
0 - build number
The two part version number 1.70 (or 170 as return from version no) is the
required dll interface/capability version of the dll (now also the
major.minor number of the Windows type version string)
