Ramy, I am pretty sure you can do what you want. I have a laptop with 2 usb ports. On one I have a wireless qwerty keyboard, on the other I have, a powered multiport box which includes 3 usb ports, on one of which is attach a midi sport 2x2. But I've also used a music keyboard which used USB for its midi connection. In that case, though, as I recall, the music keyboard USB had to connect directly to the pc, not thru the multi port box. js -----Original Message----- From: ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:ddots-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ramy Moustafa Sent: Thursday, January 18, 2007 14:39 To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [ddots-l] using USP keyboard hi all: can i use a USb music keyboard, for step writing in sibelius? i want to use it in my laptop. cause in my laptop i don't have any midi inputs, so what shall i do now/ and of cores, i don't have a keypad, so can i buy the computer usb that contains both letters, and music notes in the other face?
