I never said it was ideal.  However, I don't see any other way until
Sibelius 5 comes out.  It does work.

Not quite so simple, Kevin, especially as you're expecting people in
institutions with Sib4 to dodge back and forth.  That's really not the
solution.  If you're working on your own, just maybe.

Here's the deal.  People who have Sibelius 4 can export there work to
Sibelius 3 format which you can use.  David does plan to be part of the
Sibelius 5 beta cycle which has not begun yet.  For now, there is
nothing you need to do that you can't do unless and until Dancing Dots
finds themselves no longer able to sell Sibelius 3 because it is no
longer in stock from the developer.  I don't think that's happened yet.



        the bottom line is that there is no need to panick yet.
