First of all, MIDI files and audio files are not the same.  You can't
place MIDI files in audio tracks. You should add audio tracks to the
SONAR MIDI project and then record the MIDI as audio.  That should solve
your problem.

I am also having the same problum.  I am trying to select the hole
standard midi file to paist in an audio timplet.  When I do it I loose
all of my patch changes and even the imfornation in the name colum.  Can
any one tell me how to use multiple midi files with the same audio
timplate?
