it's ASIO and you find the button in the General tab of Sonar's Audio Options dialog. If you are tabbing through the controls, it's right before you land on OK and Cancel.

Well, I canâ??t give you sound card specific assistance as Iâ??ve never worked with one of those, but maybe this will help. you need to ensure that your driver mode is set to asio within Sonar, then go to the asio panel from sonarâ??s audio options menu and change the buffer size from their.

Hi. The only thing I can think of is that your asio buffer size within your soundcardâ??s control panel is set too high. I know with my saffire pro I also get timing issues when my asio buffer size is too high and Iâ??m recording any audio source. Decreasing it should do the trick. Just for interest sake, is this the first time it has happenned to you?

Hi everybody,
I am having a problem with my recorded audio.
On playback it plays slightly ahead of the metronome click of the project. so then I have to give it about 3 small nudges backward to put it on point. Iâ??ve tried moving the latency and even move the offset in the global but I am not getting any results. Iam working with a creation station with window7, sonar 8.5 and itâ??s upgrades 
and my soundcard is Mackie 1640 onyx firewire.
Can anybody give me any suggestions or advice To fix this problem.
