If you do decide to sell it, please let me know. ----- Original Message ----- From: Gordon Kent To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Sunday, April 12, 2009 1:51 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: motif questions I may be considering selling one of my motif es6's to get the sx. I'm not sure what I would be asking for yet, need to see what the market looks like, but I have two that are in good shape, and the one I would be selling has the expansion module for additional outputs and light pipe and 512mb of ram. I leave the other one at my steady gig. The one I'm selling also has the an1 and acoustic modeling vlz boards. Yes. 2> Is there a difference between the Motif s6 and a Motif 6?? The motif 6 is the first motif in the line, (also refered to as the motif classic.) There are significant differences between the motif and the motif es. For one thing, the sampling memory in the es is 512 megs, and the motif is only 64. The es probably has double the sounds from the original motif. These are just a couple differences. You might want to read up on them. 3> Does anyone know where I can find any of the Motif S series for purchase (Used is fine). I've seen quite a few listed on Guitar Center's website. You'll have to buy one used because the ES is discontinued. Also check ebay.
