[ddots-l] inserting soft synths

Hi List,
I'm having a problem getting my head around soft synths and their insertion
into a project.
I've read the relevant sections in the CT manual but when I insert the
relevant soft synth I tend to get a bit lost.
What confuses me is the number of boxes either to check or uncheck.
