Check to see that you don't have midi echo set to on on another track.

Subject: [ddots-l] general midi question in Sonar 6.2.1

I'm trying to play a general midi file and the drums although they are assigned to channel 10, are still playing piano.. Please help, I'm using a creative lab Soundblaster for midi, I have midi omni as input. Tell me what other settings I should be aware of. I'd hate to think that I would have to load up a soft synth for something as simple as this, but if I have to I guess I will.
