There are one shots but I haven't had much success using with with SFZ. I don't know if you might have a better way of doing it. ----- Original Message ----- From: Steve Wicketts To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, November 07, 2009 10:34 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: drum loops Hi Greg, I took a listen to the drums on Demand. I wanted to hear their contemporary country as that would be closest to what I need for my projects. At first I just thought the loops sounded ok as the bass example on the first demo was nothing to write home about and the snare sounded like it had been slapped not hit with a stick, however, I was then suddenly blown away by some of the best Bass drums I have ever heard followed by some fantastic snares. They are indeed excellent quality and very punchy sounding. The site mention that their are samples of single hits. I was wondering, is there mapped drums on there for creating your own Drum Loops? I've recently purchased Superior Drummer 2.0 plus the Nashville expansion. I've yet to load them on to my system, I'm hoping that With help I can make Superior come across with the same kind of punchy sound that I heard on the Drums on Demand web site. Please would you get back to me regarding whether there are Sample hits mapped out as a drum kit for keyboards. Thanks for mentioning Drums on demand. Best wishes, Steve W ----- Original Message ----- From: Greg Brayton To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, November 04, 2009 11:31 AM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: drum loops I just love drums on demand I think it's drumsondemand.com but you could google drums on demand and find it I'm sure. The way they're layed out is very cool. They're acidized but there are recomended tempos. Each loop set is put together with a song in mind, they have, Verse with and with out crash, with fills, and the same with chorus and bridge. Of course you can put them together anyway you like. Most sets come with extra fills and a couple endings. It's real easy to slap a track together in a hurry that sounds like it was done with a darn good drummer. Smart loops are good too, but I think drums on demand are a bit better recorded. They really have that pop. ----- Original Message ----- From: thomas de rosa To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, November 03, 2009 7:45 PM Subject: [ddots-l] drum loops Hey, I have a question for you experienced guys. I have little experience with drum loops but need more than what sonar 6 gives me and cutting my own with midi isn't good enough for me anymore. So what would you recommend for a starters. The, I guess the simplest but some thing that has good beats. Rock adult rock in that vain. If I don't get back to you right away, it's because I don't get on my equipment but every few days.
