Hi Steve, James here. If you bundle your audio and midi files by going to save as bundle, your chances of losing your work will diminish. You might want to just create a bundle folder, which is what I do when I create several files when I know it's going to put a load on my system. Hope this helps. I tab to the "Find button" and press the space bar, this put me on delete all history and delete clipboard. I wasn't sure whether I should press ok on that or not so cancelled. and went to bed. Phil is it OK if I call you on Monday? just give me a time if Mondays' ok with you. I have loads of finished and unfinished projects on this computer so, can't afford to take chances of losing hundreds of hours of work with my limited knowledge. If you haven't used the clean audio tool on your project folders then, Sonar will back up everything you have copied, including the unwanted audio files. Also, if projects are running with a lot of latency and you are getting drop outs then, it's time to use the clean audio tool. Give me a call and I will be happy to explain all of this in a lot more detail. I've got a question; Just what is this picture cash folder anyway? I've got almost 2000 files in there; when I scrolled through it to see what sorts of files I had, they were various extensions, but they were names of past projects I had since moved to a storage drive. Many of them represented edits and recordings of tracks and so forth. I didn't dare delete them because I didn't know what I might do to mess up projects. Take care. Also, James is correct. You should periodically use the clean audio folder to clean out deleted audio that you have used in projects.
