They are the graphics that appear in your project such as the envelopes, etc. that we can't use with traditional access tools. I delete them all every few weeks or so. I've got almost 2000 files in there; when I scrolled through it to see what sorts of files I had, they were various extensions, but they were names of past projects I had since moved to a storage drive. Also, James is correct. You should periodically use the clean audio folder to clean out deleted audio that you have used in projects.
