[ddots-l] When my cursor routes wrong

Hi.
I have a problem.
I was on track 4 and wanted with CT8 to insert a send.
I did the following.
presset insert+- to move the corsur toe the far left and then rightclick - you know what I mean. now CT said: moving cursor and such thing, don#t know exactly the words but, instead of track 4 it said track 5.
why was the wron track accessed?
When I come into the trackproperties, and move to output, I hear asio analog 5 but First, I set the output to master and changed nothing. So why do my settings change when I want to access something without an action from me?
