Jack, As Sonar has a feature to save revisioning a couple ways, it makes sense to use it. I've never lost anything of my work because of it. You can set up auto-save to capture either every xx minutes, or every xx changes. You can tell it how many versions to keep. It's in the Options/General dialog on the Auto-Save and Versioning page. Disk space is so much cheaper than my time to recover mistakes -- and I make quite a few. Dave Carlson From my Dell Latitude 630, currently not nearly close enough for my comfort to my Audio Recording and Mixing Studios, San Francisco Bay Area. But I'll try to remedy that situation. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jack Conti" <jackconti@xxxxxxx> To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, August 03, 2011 1:11 Subject: [ddots-l] Re: Valuable lesson learned one of the things i do is keep an alternitive backup on a second drive and i may just be an hour old or something like that, so i can rewrite it to my audio drive. i have had to do this a couple of times since i screwed things up.
