I get that I'm overloading the mic, sure. I guess what I'm not understanding is that this is essentially clipping, yes? So why isn't that overload showing up on sonar's meters? That's what I'm trying to understand, what's the relationship to the volume I'm hearing from my hardware and what sonar's getting, and how can I make them fit together more accurately? If that makes any sense, I jsut woke up, heh.
