OK, what kind of program are you trying to open. Are you trying to open a
sound font or a native sfz file, or just a wav file. You should get a normal
file open dialog up when you press enter on the "load program" button.

Gord, I did this and I get a list view tha that has a list starting with
cdf29 and so on. When I click on one of these programs it sends me back to the
message press f4 and starts all over again. No programs come up.

    Tom:
You are probably clicking on the "load recent programs button, which would
give you that message. You need to --
press f4, then enter, then tab once to the load program button and press
enter, then browse to the file you want.

OK, here goes. I'm following your instructions from the mp3 demo.
I click on the SFZ synth in the menu bar. In the insert synth dialogues
I check on the view properties and allow midi recording and the track gets
inserted. Then in the sfz dialogues I press f4 and hit enter on load programs.
I get a message that the programs may not load if you don't have the correct
settings. I go to the tree list of programs and click on one and nothing
happens. It brings back to the message to press f 4. The tracks do get loaded
into the project but I can't get any of the sounds. I'm not sure it's a
setting issue because I can get the session drummer sounds to load.

What steps are you performing when you are trying to load a sample into
sfz?

Hi Stacey, I've been looking around in the synt rack view after
inserting the SFZ but I don't seem to see anything that will get the SFZ synt
to open. I can insert the synt into a project but when I'm in the program I
can't seem to get anything to open in the SFZ dialogue boxes.
          I appreciate your suggestions.
          Tom

            Hi Tom,

I dont know if you've sorted out your SFZ trouble. If not, I know
that you need to check the properties and synth rack view when using the SFZ
sampler.

Hi there, I can't seem to load any of the SFZ programs. I have
producer 6.2 version of CT. I get the program to load but when I click on a
file in the treee menu nothing loads. I get a message before clicking on the
program load button that it may not work if your settings aren't correct. I
can load session drummer so I don't think it's the set up. Any ideas out there.
              Thanks Tom
