Interesting mark i kept 8 when i went to 8.5.3. just recently bought the box set of 8.5.3 so won't have to install 8 anymore.Mark just curious if ct was the last thing you installed since i believe it must be that way.
i did have some strange things happening with jfw and ct like repeating things about 6 months ago.
i went back to jaws 11. re-installed a fresh ct8.5.68 and all problems went away.
everyone hear has a different system and only god knows what kind of problem s can be brought on by that... At 07:04 PM 4/17/2012, you wrote:
Thanks dave, Yes I thought of doing that. Also Dave here's the kicker. I kept Sonar 8.3 when I installed 8.5.3.I used it today, what do you think, it's performing in the wrong way just like 8.5.3.This is the strangest thing. To lower the volume, I usually select the entire track goto projects open up audio and open gain control. tab to left channell then up arrow to lower the volume jaws says minus 1 db or minus what I chews, tab to right channel and do the same, tab to ok. Worked for years. In the option audio menu I let the wave profiler do its thing. Also I make sure that my Delta 1010lt interface is selected for audio output. Never had problems before the upgrade. I perchased the upgrade a few weeks ago when danceing dots had there special. The software they sent were up to date, at least I thought they were. As for why tracks would be louder after rendering, you don't tell us how you have things configured in the Export Audio dialog, or how you're adjusting volumes, so it's really hard to know what to suggest. Every time I perform any action, I have to repeat this. Also, on a audio track, I lower the db down for example peak level showing minus 3db and when I save the track and then load it again. the db level is high and it is clipping. What in the world is that all about. Lost some good tracks that way before I caught it. Why would saving a track raise the volume level? Thanks in advance. PLEASE READ THIS FOOTER AT LEAST ONCE!
