Hold the control key then press space bar when you want to pause.

Hi List:
I know this is a little late, but i hope everyone had a very good xmas and
new year. i have a slight query about recording, and wonder if anyone can
help?
is there any way in Sonar, to pause a recording. that is, if i record
some audio is there a way to stop recording and then start from where i
left off again rather than starting from the beginning or overwriting the
previous recording? those are the only options i'm able to find at the
moment.
Many thanks
Hayley
