Phil:
I just tried to repro your situation and I do not have your problem. I set the minimum for height and width of graphics to 4 and saved the configuration.

it happens all the time. it even happens when I first open sonar and immediately try to open the synth rack view with no synths inserted. jaws says "inspector focused, but not visible". What's up with inspector focused-- I wanted the synth rack view I say to myself--I wasn't even in the inspector. Then I'm back in track view as if nothing happened. The inspector is not open, so I don't understand the inspector reference by CT. So, I checked all the sonar required configurations for CT(tool bars etc) and everything seems OK. I ran the control F12 tests-there OK too. Then I ran jaws merge utility to hopefully bring CT files from jaws6.2 that I haven't been using since I got Jaws8, but no joy. Finally, i re-installed CT5.2--still happening.

It seems like its a sonar problem not showing the synthrack view--or maybe its coming up minimized or in some non-standard format that CT can't recognize. The only thing I can think to do, other than send a debug report to DancingDots, is to re-install sonar--which I'd rather not do. Any help appreciated.

Phil!

Does it happen when you open a different type of app, like a soft synth?

I guess if it doesn't happen when you open another instrument, then the problem might be the adjustments you made to Real Guitar?

Worth a try...

I have labelled a bunch of graphics in RealGuitar softsynth's interface. I have also changed the minimum and maximum graphics dimensions in Default.jcf. I did the latter for jaws to recognize some very small and some very wide graphics in the softsynth. and now(I don't know if its related)I can't open the synth rack view. When I select synthrack from the view menu, CT says inspector opened, but not visible, but the synth rack doesn't appear or any other screen changes that I can tell.

any ideas?
