It's an "Athletic Supporter" which keeps one's gonads in a fixed position,
often protected with a "cup". You might want to expand your understanding of
the world and language through the use of Wikipedia, or an online dictionary.

What's a jock strap? Is it like a cowboy roping a steed?

Precisely what it says. It's as far back as the bible and Greek and Roman
lit and earlier, it means wear a steel Jock Strap or the female equivalent when
you're going into battle--in this case with reality and the world as it is as
contrasted with how we might wish it to be.

Gird your loins? I've never heard that expression before. What's that mean?

sorry Sister, but it's all part of the Joys of being a Blind Musician in
the Digital Age prior to the age of Universal Design. You can do things even
with our difficulties far beyond what Musicians of the 60's or earlier could
have imagined even in the then all powerful studio... Get some perspective,
gird your loins, and forge ahead... Explore and conquer what you have access
to, and rest assured in the fullness of time, avenues closed to you in the
present will become manifest in the fullness of time.

That's 57 years of observation speaking, and I have the rationality of
Empiricism on my side and don't have to rely upon cant or creed for comfort.

Yeah it would. I've been dealing with stuff that is not screenreader
friendly, and man, I've got to tell ya, it's a royal pain in the hind end! If
you know what I mean.

That would be nice if they put it out soon though.

I know I've been talking with Jay Coffman, one of the representatives
at Eastwest, and he said that they're working on making Play so that it's
screenreader friendly. However, he didn't say when that would come to fruition.

Did they specificly say that their upgrade had blind users in mind?
Because if not, it's highly unlikely it will be any more accessible than their
previous installments. As Phil said, bitmapped is bitmapped.

          Hi Tommy,
Maybe wait for a while. East West promised an upgrade to the PLAY
engine which could make the program easier to access. I have MOR but never use
it.
