There is a template for fm7 for the evolution controller, though I've never tried it because I've lost my fm7 installation CD. You can also use directixer or the track inspector in Sonar. Yes it is very good. If you get the b4, I would suggest that you consider getting the evolution controller, which can control many different soft synths.
