HI Brian.
You can have many many licenses on a single iLok. They are kept on
the iLok site and downloaded to your dongle.
Something you might want to do though, is buy an iLok 2. The
original iLok was cracked ages ago, so any plug-ins relying on it
for security were also hacked, Waves etc.
So, iLok 2 is now out. It's shorter, it holds more licenses, and
it's still secure. The hackers haven't cracked it yet. Plus, newer
plug-ins will be requiring it and not the original iLok.
