I think what he might be asking is why are some of the parameters of the
lexicon pantheon are not accessible. Sometimes I have this problem as well.
I'll be tabbing through the controls and then I may hear Jaws say something
like not accessible yet tab then shift tab and then it should work, but when
I do that it still doesn't work. I'm still very glad for the controls that
are accessible though. If you balance your buss just right You can get a
real good sound out of it. I hardly use the Sonidus reverb anymore.

No, destructive would be if you were accessing it from the process/audio
effects menu. If you are inserting it into a track, most of the presets
are going to be nothing but wet. The pantheon is really meant to be used
in an aux bus.
