And i liked his report so much, I bought one a MOTU24I/O, with 3GB DDR RAM, 2
SATA hard drives 80 and 160 GB
respectively Local System and Data, 4USB2 ports, a floppy, DVD burner,
keyboard/mouse, Sonar producer upgrade
and CakeTalking upgrade--didn't have to upgrade the "shark"... (grin) And my
Mallet Kat arrives next week as the
Kurzweil PC2R and other Kurzweil Music products are finally shipping again...
There will be so much to learn--but such
a nice studio recording system for such a long time to come, and with my MAUDIO
8x8 MidiSport, what a wonderland of
toys and possibilities, and I won't have to unhook things and can use templates
and wow!

Recently, Gordon Kent of Dancing Dots tested the first of these units we've
received from our supplier and he liked the vastly improved performance of
SONAR running on it so much that he bought one for his own studio. Gord can
tell you more about the technical reasons why but this new model really has
some serious processing power.
