Do you need a control surface that is also an audio interface?
If not, you have other lower cost options like a Mackie Control, or
Behringer BCF2000. You definitely want something with motorized faders.
I've often wondered how well the V700 works with Sonar though - you
would think it would be the most tightly integrated system, since
Cakewalk pushes it. It's expensive though.
So, has anybody actually had their hands on one?
