Nero 6 is easy to use, if not a little confusing at first, at least it was a little bit for me... ----- Original Message ----- From: Phil Halton To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, March 07, 2007 4:40 PM Subject: [ddots-l] Re: CD burning If I remember correctly, in Nero, you don't have to "drag n drop". Instead, you can select the files you want to burn in the normal way and do a windows "copy", then switch to the pane where you would normally "Drop" those files for burning , and then do a windows "Paste". Switching to the various panes in nero I believe can be done by using the windows pull down menu and selecting the pane. All this is from a far distant memory when I had an older (and very friendly version) of Nero. I have Nero 6 on my new machine, but haven't used it yet, although, I think it will be quite usable. ----- Original Message ----- From: briantunes@xxxxxxx To: ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, March 07, 2007 11:29 AM Subject: [ddots-l] CD burning I've been working with a blind friend with Sonar, but can't seem to find an accessible way for him to create a CD. What burning software do you find the most easy to work with? We've been trying to get Nero 5 (which came with his computer) to work, but navigating around in the Nero Express or Nero Burning ROM windows seems impossible without drag and drop. Are any unusual keystrokes involved that we haven't figured out? Or is Nero just plain unfreindly for blind users? Or maybe the latest version would be worth investing in? What CD burning software do you all use? Thanks. Brian Packard ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- AOL now offers free email to everyone.
