If you use the laptop layout with JAWS, then it is your Caps Lock key, on the left side, under the Tab key. Pressing Caps Lock twice quickly makes it operate like a normal caps lock. Pressing and holding makes it act like the JAWS key. On my Dell Latitude the physical Insert key is the same as Annabelle described. But it's a whole lot easier using the Caps Lock key for most JAWS functions. Dave Carlson From my Dell Latitude 630, currently not nearly close enough for my comfort to my Audio Recording and Mixing Studios, San Francisco Bay Area. But I'll try to remedy that situation. ----- Original Message ----- From: "neville" <neville@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Tuesday, August 23, 2011 6:47 Subject: [Bulk] [ddots-l] Question about laptops Hello, To those of you who have laptops can you tell me where would the jaws key be? On desk tops it is zero on the number pad, but since most laptops don't have number pads, where would this key be? Can someone also tell me where would the applications key be as well? How would someone using jaws right click to download a file with no number pad? So I'm also asking where would the left and right mouse buttons be? Oh and what about the end and home keys? May the peace of God which passes all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. God bless you!
