You may well want to add your thoughts and the fact that your not purchasing Sonar 8 until accessibility comes for Beatscape. Adding to threads like this has way more affect on whether developers bother to fix inaccessibility in software than posting on lists such as this one.
That's great that you sent Cakewalk an E-mail however, putting info out publicly really does make a difference. It makes advocating with regard to accessibility for those of us who happen to be Sonar beta testers, easier if companies like 12 Tone systems, become aware of how many people these issues actually affect.

Thanks guys. I have sent an email to Cakewalk letting them know I would like them to dowhatever it takes to make the Beatscape plugin designed in a way that it canbe accessed by hot spot clicker and/or the caketalking scripts for the blind.To be honest, beatscape is what seemed to be most interesting to me in terms of new stuff with Sonar 8. I will wait for Beatscape functionality. Untilthen I will stick with Sonar 6.2 PE. Beatscape seems very fun and intuitive. I hope it comes soon. I just want to play!!!!
