Some may be interested in Paracanoeing FYI
Want to try a new sport? Paracanoe is an exciting sport combining canoeing
and kayaking. Whether you want to head out for a casual paddle, or aspire
to
win Paralympic gold, paracanoe is a fun and challenging sport, accessible
to
all abilities.
Paracanoe has been included in the Paralympic Games in Rio 2016.
A development session is being held in late October to introduce new
participants to the sport and give keen paracanoers the opportunity to
improve on their skills with experienced coaches.
When: Sunday 28 October
Where: Patterson Lakes Canoe Club (Launching Way, Carrum)
Time: 10am-1pm
Bring: Swimmers, change of clothes, sunscreen, hat, lunch etc.
