FYI It is now time to register for the 2012 Victorian State Convention of Blind Citizens Australia, to be held at the Mercure Hotel in Geelong from 12-14 October 2012. This year's theme is Leadership: Turning Dreams into Vision. An exciting and thought-provoking program is planned, with sessions covering the NDIS, travel for education or work, creative writing and future directions for BCA. Participants in the convention will have the opportunity to meet and socialise at an optional winery tour and evening ... welcome function on Friday 12th October. After the Convention Dinner on Saturday night, the floor will be given over to dancing and music. Participants are able to register by downloading the forms from Blind Citizens Australia's website at: www.bca.org.au. Participants are also able to phone the BCA office to request documents be sent out to their address in their preferred format: (03) 9654 1400.
