invited to provide input into the drafting of the legislation for the proposed
Disability Services Act 2012. You have been contacted because your name
is on the South Australian Disability Register, a resource for public
consultation on topics involving disability
matters.
A number of important
provisions are under consideration for the new Act. I encourage you to influence the
future provision of services to people with disabilities in
South Australia by
having your say.

Jill Whitehorn is the
Executive Officer for the Legislative Review. Jill is keen to acquire feedback
to facilitate the next stage, which is focused on drafting instructions for a
new Act. Jill will present some of the key
provisions that are under consideration for the new Act. Forum group participants will have the
opportunity to raise issues or seek clarification around the making of the new
Disability Act.
