You are invited to join us for a session on the Commonwealth Bank’s new
EFTPOS tablet – Albert

Albert is an EFTPOS tablet designed to be used by retailers, such as in
restaurants and cafes. It is a mobile device and uses touchscreen technology
rather than a traditional keypad.

Devices that rely on touchscreen technology are often not accessible for
people who are blind or have low vision. The Commonwealth Bank have developed
an accessible solution for Albert that incorporates audio feedback and
text-to-speech, and which will be launched in October. Vision Australia and
the Commonwealth Bank are jointly holding sessions where Vision Australia
clients can become familiar and gain hands-on experience with Albert and its
accessibility solution.

We are offering you the opportunity to attend a session to learn how to use
Albert and its accessibility solution directly from a Commonwealth Bank
representative, morning/afternoon tea will be provided.

Sessions are being held:

· Gosford Vision Australia centre – 10am, Tuesday 20 October 2015

· Coorparoo Vision Australia centre (Brisbane) – Wednesday 21 October
(session full)
